Christmas Time In the City

Despite warnings about record level crowds of tourists in New York City this holiday season we decided to try our luck in the Big Apple. We have guests in town for Christmas so we bundled up and headed for Rockefeller Center and the Christmas tree. There were crowds, but they weren't nearly as difficult to get around and through as I had feared.

Boston LDS Temple - Color Study

On President's Day I took a trip up to Belmont, MA to the Boston LDS Temple. It was snowy that morning, the driving conditions were ugly, and the skies were gray. By 2:00 PM, however, the slush was gone and the dark mist had been replaced with brilliant blue skies and patchy white clouds. Photography ensued, of course...

Self-Portrait at 20 Below

I didn't have a thermometer with me, but with the wind chill this morning I really believe it was 20 below. It had been a very long time since my fingers were this cold. They ached for 10 minutes while I tried to warm them up in the car.
