Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is one of the rare gems of the PNW each spring. Within sight of majestic Mt. Hood on a clear day, acres of vibrant blooms aligned in perfect rows provide a photographic opportunity not to be equaled!

Join me and and other like-minded artists for a truly unique photography experience out in the blooms! We'll be starting well before sunrise then shooting through that morning blue hour, sunrise, and golden hour. After sunrise we’ll focus on close-up or macro composition, looking for unique perspectives out in the blooms.

We'll tailor the experience to the skill level of each participant with plenty of one-on-one interaction as we work on basic camera techniques, composition, and exposure.

We will be shooting rain or shine... If it's really bad, like the vendor tents are blowing across the fields bad, we'll work on setting up an alternate date.

Discount farm admission (one day or a season pass) is available for those that don't already have a season pass.

What to bring/etc.:

• Camera and lenses

• tripod

• remote trigger (if possible, not required)

• Shoes that can get muddy, or boots!

• Snacks to fuel the artist inside you
