Hope Ranch Lavender is a beautiful farm located in the fruit belt of Hood River. Its vibrant rows of lavender frame views of both Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood. The owners have graciously agreed to allow me to bring a small group of photographers out to enjoy the views after hours!

Join me and other like-minded artists for a truly unique photography experience out in the Lavender! We'll have access to the field at hours not normally available to guests. We'll be starting well before sunset then shooting through golden hour, sunset, and into blue-hour. For those interested, we'll play around with some light painting techniques. Weather permitting, we will see the Milky Way rise high in the sky beginning in the 11PM hour. (Yes, there's abundant light pollution right in front of Mt. Hood, but on a clear night the Milky Way is clearly visible over the rows of lavender). A partial moon will be rising late, improving our chances of experiencing a stellar night! (Get it? Stellar?)

We'll tailor the experience to the skill level of each participant with plenty of one-on-one interaction as we work on basic camera techniques, composition, and exposure.

• Remote trigger (if possible, not required)

• Shoes that can get wet or muddy! (they irrigate)
